Here is a plan which is presented in response to a high number of requests for an authentic Morris chair reproduction which can be made in home workshops. Now you can use our plan to build this classic piece. Overall size: 33" wide x 38-1/2" high x 33-5/8" deep.

A comfortable Arts & Crafts styled rocker featuring an upholstered back which is held in place by wood screws. A loose seat cushion is to rest on the seat slats. Upholstery options and techniques are not discussed in the plan, so you should plan on taking care of that aspect of the project on your own. This rocking chair is a simple, sturdy piece of American furniture that is sure to last for years. Overall dimensions: 27" wide, 38" high.

Mission coffee table plans

This simple table recalls the straightforward design exemplified by the Arts & Crafts movement of the early 1900's.  The legs are made using through-tenon construction, just as an original piece would have, and the overall dimensions are 42" long, 20" wide, and 16" high. It's a great table for you to ramp up your skills with -- not too difficult.

Mission sofa table plan

A seven page instructional booklet has many diagrams and illustrations -- information that really helps the beginner to learn, while the 18" x 20" shop drawings allow the advanced woodworker to finish the project without being held back by a lot of information. The table is 50" long, by 28" high, by 17" wide. The plans call for it to be made of solid oak, so you will be gluing up (or laminating) wood panels. Due to the in-depth nature of these plans, it's a good learning plan for the beginner to mortise and tenon joinery.
