Mission bed plans for woodworking

Three sizes of beds in an Arts & Crafts and Mission influenced style can be built using these plans -- twin, double, and queen are the sizes. Details for all three are included. The vertical slats, long brackets (corbels), and slightly peaked crest rail on the head and footboards are features of this style. The headboard is 44" high, the footboard is 33" high. View all joinery in full size and enjoy doing this intermediate level project. Easy to expand.

Mission dresser chest of drawers plans

Seven drawer chest is a basic piece in any Mission style bedroom group. If you're looking for an authentic reproduction piece, the through-tenon construction and long brackets at the corners are hallmark features of the Stickley tradition. Overall size of the finished piece is 62-1/2" wide, 20-3/4" deep, and 32-1/4" high. Drawer slide designs are all wooden, so there is no need for slide hardware if not desired, just wax them up for smooth sliding.

Tall chest plans for woodworking

Make this eight drawer companion chest for the Mission style bedroom group our other plans can help you to build. Four graduated drawers below and four small drawers at the top provide ample and diversified storage space for clothing. Through-tenon construction is used to replicate an authentic Mission style piece.  36-1/2" wide, 20-3/4" deep, by 51-1/2" high.

Mission hope chest plans

The drawers of this project are non-functional. The plans help you build the pictured hope chest which has ample storage capacity. You can use cherry, oak, or even birch for the outside, then line the inside with cedar planking for appearance and authentic cedar chest aroma to keep your blankets smelling fresh.
